The Puritan | Frontiers of New English is proud to announce the return of our online literary contest, THE THOMAS MORTON MEMORIAL PRIZE!
The Second Annual Thomas Morton Prize in Literary Excellence
The Second Annual Thomas Morton Memorial Prize in Literary Excellence recognizes the best in fiction and poetry received for 2013.
As with the 2012 award, given to Mark Sampson for the poem, “Seasonal Sonnets: Five Guidelines for My Death” and Nathan L. Pillman for the short story, “Kyle’s Place,” the winner in the fields of poetry and fiction will each receive a generous cash prize as well as a collection of books from some of Canada’s most celebrated publishers. The winning entries will also appear in The Puritan Issue XXIII: Fall 2013 and be honoured at our launch party, Black Thursday.
Be the second pair of writers to pin the longest literary prize title onto your list of accolades. Brave the frontier today!
